LaTasha will provide real examples from her children's books or cartoons as well as exercises for them to try.
Recommended for independent writers in grade levels 1-6, in a class size (30 or fewer participants) with tables/ desks. Students must bring paper/pencil.
Creative Writing Workshop
We all have a creative writing side that we can share with others around us. Our creative side can be discovered when someone asks us to describe a story or a typical day of adventurous fun. We have to determine the Who, What, When and Where in creative writings in order to have a successful story. As a result of the Creative Writing Workshop, students can take what they are currently learning to create and share their own story!
Best suited for grade levels 1-8 in classrooms with tables/desks. Students must bring paper/pencil. Length: 45-60 minutes Q&A included.
